Nations Discipleship Enterprise (NDE-Network)and our related entities, Kampala Children’s Centre and Destiny Africa Children’s Choir, appreciate that privacy is very important and so we have adopted this Privacy Policy recognising the right of people to keep their personal information private. This Privacy Policy covers NDE-Network’s treatment of personally identifiable information that we collect or hold. We believe that it is compliant with the General Data Protection Regulation introduced on 25 May 2018

  1. The information we collect

NDE-Network will collect general information about you, such as your name, address, and contact details so that we can contact you regarding your sponsored child and/or to send to you our periodic newsletter and other information regarding KCC developments. We may also collect this and other types of personal information whilst dealing with you, for example when you wish to obtain goods from the NDE-Network Store, when you register for conferences, events or as a volunteer member of a mission team or as a volunteer individual, plus when you participate in NDE-Network activities or complete other forms. Where practical, the purpose for which we collect personal information will be made clear at the time of collection. If you do not provide us with certain information we may be unable to provide you with access to some of our activities or respond to the assistance that you have requested.

Users can generally visit the NDE-Network website without revealing who they are or other personal information unless they log on, place an order or register with us. NDE-Network will not collect any personal information about visitors to the website except when they knowingly provide it.

  1. How we use your information

NDE-Network will not sell or lease your personal information to others outside of NDE-Network/KCC and Destiny Africa. NDE will use the personal information we collect for the purpose disclosed at the time of collection, or otherwise as set out in this Privacy Policy. We will not use your personal information for any other purpose without first seeking your consent, unless authorised or required by law. We will only use and disclose your personal information as follows:

(a) to establish and maintain your involvement with NDE-Network, including your child and project sponsorship

(b) to provide the products that you have requested from NDE-Network;

(c) to answer your inquiry;

(d) to invite and register you for events, conferences or promotions;

(e) to provide you with newsletters about our work and Kampala Children Centre;

(f) for child sponsors, to send you letters, photos and school reports from your sponsored child;

(g) for child sponsors, we will share your name with your sponsored child but not contact details.

  1. Access to your information

You can request access to the personal information that NDE holds about you by contacting NDE-Network offices. We will provide you with access to your personal information unless we are legally authorised to refuse your request.

If you wish to change personal information that is out of date or inaccurate, please contact us. After notice from you, we will take reasonable steps to correct any of your information which is inaccurate, incomplete or out of date. If you wish to have your personal information deleted, please let us know and we will delete that information wherever practicable.

  1. Security

NDE-Network will take normal and reasonable steps to keep secure any personal information which we hold and to keep this information accurate and up to date. Personal information is stored in a secure Google server or secure paper files. The Internet is not a secure method of transmitting information. Accordingly, NDE cannot accept responsibility for the security of information you send to or receive from us over the Internet or for any unauthorised access or use of that information. However, any payment card details (such as credit or debit cards) we receive on our website are passed securely to our payment processing provider according to the Payment Card Industry Security Standards
