Big smiles were everywhere in January this year as Kampala Children Centre hosted a special dental services camp for all the children and staff! Led by the kind Dr. Yanni, a dentist all the way from the US, the camp provided free check-ups, cleanings, and even some treatment for our program beneficiaries. Dr. Yanni wasn’t alone in his generosity – his daughter, Pat, and Lexi also joined him on this special trip.
Together with our local support, they made a fantastic dental dream team! The children had a blast learning about healthy teeth and keeping their smiles sparkling.
Closing his clinic in the US to travel all the way to Uganda and care for our children made us feel honoured. This incredible act of kindness truly touched our hearts. We are so grateful to Dr.Yani, Pat, Lexi and everyone who helped make this camp a success!
