This Easter at Kampala Children's Centre, we are celebrating life. In times of great adversity, we are working to extend hope. As a charity, our mission is to offer vulnerable children a better life. Today, I'm delighted to share how we're achieving just that. ![]() With the recent outbreak of COVID-19, many are facing great challenge. Today in Uganda, families are living in full lock down while facing poverty, economic crisis and no health care access. Food and medicine are scarce and their price has more than tripled.
Today Ugandan children are vulnerable more than ever before
At Kampala Children's Centre, we are extending our services to help. Our staff are working to ensure vulnerable children without food or accommodation are kept safe within our care. Children are living onsite, secured from external contact and are receiving quality care and nutrition. Those suffering underlying health conditions are under the supervision of our medical teams. Through health checks, safe medicine and qualified medical staff, our children's health is being kept in tip top shape. ![]() At Kampala Children's Centre, we are giving children hope. Through accommodation, quality health care and reliable medicine, our children are living strong, protected and happy. This Easter, we would like to thank our supporters who have helped make all of this possible. Because of you, vulnerable are living with health, hope and a prosperous future.
